Robin Wilson-Tolbert, CPC, PCC comes to coaching with over 25 years of Human Resources (HR) leadership experience, including, more recently, 17 years with GlaxoSmithKline, PLC (GSK) as a Director/HR Business Partner supporting business leaders with up to 2,500 employees. 

From individual contributors to senior leadership; new grads to retirement-ready, Robin's clients span the globe and a variety of disciplines and industries including pharmaceuticals, technology, social media, finance, healthcare, and communications as well as non-profits and small businesses.   

Robin is an advisor and former board member for the Age Equity Alliance; Premier Fellow Coach (contract) for BetterUp; a member of the Pennsylvania Career Development Association, and former advisory board member of Summer Search Philadelphia.

I had an exciting career in Human Resources (HR) that I enjoyed for years, until I didn’t. It wasn’t the company, people or profession, it was me. I had changed over time and I longed for a different way of life. In fact, it was through my employer’s development programs that I was able to find my way.

It all started when I enrolled in the internal coach training program and volunteered to coach employees across the company -- I was hooked!  Several years later, I was selected to work in Rwanda for six months through the corporate volunteer program. As cliche as it sounds, it changed my life! I realized that I was living a crazy, busy life and had come to dread Monday mornings.  I knew I wanted to coach and, as importantly, I wanted a flexible lifestyle that allowed more time for family, community and adventure! My volunteer experience opened my eyes, but working with my coach helped me crystallize my goals, get out of my own way and take action!
